Is there any you would rather not see? Why or why not.
Do you think that in some way our "real" photos might detract from our serious posts?

Well, I've realized that I'm not one of the "cool kids...." and seeing as it more of a popularity kinda question anyways, there would have to be some serious begging for me to even consider it.....

but, I gotta say, I look pretty darn good in my kilt.

:)

Honestly there is intolerance in every category of belief. However, most Pagans preach acceptance while Christians deny the validity of even other forms of Christianity. The Lutherans call the J.W.s a cult and they say the Mormons are mislead, the Methodists have an offshoot called the Primitive Methodists because the original Methodists "lost their way". It is an elitist mindset and a lot of people are tired of it and starting to see the intolerance. Quite frankly it is human nature to form tribes. In high school they call them cliques. Carl Jung said that most people do not mature emotionally past 15. Taking the above into account I tend to agree with him.

Here I am! Not that too many care - but there it is in all it's gorry - yikes - glory

I agree with the poster above, if we all used our real photos there just might be alittle more respect.... although one can never truly know if this is the TRUE portrait of a cartoon fanatic!! LOL

blessings :)

EDIT: I think it's time we saw the mighty Darth Cheney

Well this picture is from when I got re-married in 2003. I was 41 in the picture. No I don't think real pictures detract from anything as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think my picture detracts from serious posts and serious answers. I don't even know if anyone can really see me as the photo is rather small. Real picture ........ Gandalf (I know, it's your real picture:) Rather not see..... nobody springs to mind.

I care more about a person's thoughts and opinions myself, so seeing a real photo won't chage my feelings for someone as I'm not the shallow type.

So, with that said, I'd be open to see anyone's photo.

I think real photos only detract if they're extremely suggestive or something. That would get annoying fast.

I would personally like to see crimmsonandclover, just out of curiosity.

Tuber Root (I think I spelled it right)

Just because, curious I guess.

Any I would rather not see? No.

I don't think the photos would detract from the serious posts, I don't pay that much attention to the Avatars or the photos either one.

Right now I'm really curious about what Zappster looks like.

Oh my gosh, how could I forget Zalem??? He's my #1 pick!

No, I don't think that a real photo would detract at all.

I'd like to see everyone's real picture. I like being able to put a face to the words.
Besides, If we weren't addressing a ridiculous-looking cartoon face or a photo of an inanimate object, we'd all probably feel inclined to be more polite and respectful to one another.
