Depends how fast your boat is. There is no speed limit in the ocean.

These are the times I found hope one of these is what you were looking for.
London Kentucky 13 hours
London Ohio 10 hours
London Texas 28 hours
London Arkansas 21 hours
London Missouri 21 hours
London Alabama 18 hours
London Indiana 12 hours
London Wisconsin 15 hours
London California 1 day 19 hours
London Michigan 10 hours
All of those are just driving times so count in your gas and food stops and you will have it. Surely you don't meen London U.K. cause it cant be done. Good luck.

If you mean London England, hypothetically it would probably take you about 58 hours if you are driving at 60 mph because the distance is 3470 miles.
But from London Ontario it's only about 9 hours by car. Much more feasible than the other.

I will assume London, Ontario, Canada:
Google Maps says 541 miles (872 km). Nonstop, that's a little over nine hours. Add maybe 3 or 4 hours for food, restrooms, and border crossing (around Niagara Falls). Here's the link:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&time=&date=&ttype=&saddr=london,+on&daddr=new+york&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=29.936499,69.257813&ie=UTF8&z=8&om=1
One thing that used to happen when entering directions from the Americas to Europe in Google Maps was that one step was "swim across the Atlantic Ocean." I found that hilarious; too bad Google has removed that functionality. Probably scared of a frivolous lawsuit.

Dearborn is basically a suburb of Detroit, so you would use the international airport there.
London-Gatwick (LGW) to Detroit (DTT) is about 8 1/2 hours of flying time. Detroit (DTT) to London-Gatwick (LGW) is currently about 7 1/2 hours. It takes longer from London TO Detroit because the winds this time of year blow from the west.
You can fly non-stop between London and Detroit both ways on British Airways and Northwest Airlines. (British Airways flies to London-Heathrow, but it would be about the same amount of flying time)

Several million years. You would need to wait for either the next Ice Age to make a bridge, or for the continents to shift completely.

First you'd have to build a very long bridge or tunnel. So, I'm guessing about 5 years.
