i am not sure what the boundaries are when it comes to therpists or whatever... anyone know? is that alright?

I think a card is appropriate. They are often exchanged between business contacts, for example. I think it's quite thoughtful, actually.

Actually, while it's a great gesture, be very careful--most therapists are not allowed to accept any sort of gift from a client. To some a greeting card can be considered a gift. If you feel the need, go ahead but don't take it personal if she can not accept it.

Why not? As long as it's not a love card! I bought my ophthalmologist a bouquet of artificial flowers. She loved them and I love her! But sending your therapist a card shouldn't present a problem.

Its fine to give your therapist card, as long as it isn't overly personal.
