I did this same theme!
I had only one bridemaid who had a black dress with embroidered pink roses on it.
For the favors, I used pink net doilies , put hershey kisses in them and tied with black ribbon. The tag on it read"Here's some kisses from the new Mr. & Mrs." These were placed inside plastic champagne glasses that were stacked like a tower on each table, and also randomly around the base of the tower.
We went to the AC Moore craft store, bought small fish bowls and small round glass candles with lids(called"wedding scent". The fish bowl had the same pink netting stuffed in it. I hot glued the candle to the top. then glued black ribbon around the base, where the 2 connected, around the top and the lid. I glued small white and pink ribbon roses to this as well.
We used the same pink netting - (it comes in a roll) to drape along the sides of the tables, using safety pins to attach to the white table clothes. Made big black bows outta the same type netting and attached pink & black ribbon roses in the center.
The cake had black and pink icing on it. The cake topper I bought and decorated using the same netting (DAMN - I had a lot of that stuff lol)
It seems crazy, but doing our own decorations saved TONS of money, and we got lots of compliments from the people.
My bouquet was made using pink roses, white roses and black silk ribbon....I think there was some small white and pink filler flowers too. I used white, pink and black round doilie tpe net things to accent as well. The guys wore pink roses with white and black net doiles folded behind it. My brides maid's bouquet was just like mine, but smaller.
Everthing I bought was from AC Moore, except the cake topper - which came from a specialty cake shop ... (it was a blond hair white girl and a dark skinned/dark haired fella so it looked just like us lol)
GOOD LUCK!

That sounds like such a cute idea! Congratulations!
I wouldn't over-do the decorations, since black is such a dark color. On your flowers, maybe have your bouquet all of the colors but alternate your bride maids with all pink and all white, or all just a combination of pink and white (you always want to make sure your bouquet is different)
White tablecloth's with black and pink centerpieces would also look good.
Good luck

These are my wedding colours, so good choice! My 'maids are in black, the groomsmen white, and the wreaths that the 'maids are carrying (winter wedding) have pink and white roses on them.
Black and white is always a classic pairing, and a touch of pink makes this work really well.
Our cake is pink. I would keep the linens, etc. all in white. This is what we did. Our centrepieces are potted white tree branches with portable battery operated Christmas lights. Our favours are mini snow globes with white ribbon. Use the pink and black primarily as accent colors, and you will be fine.
My dress is baby pink with white lace over top. It looks awesome!
Good luck!

I think that black, pink, and white is very classy and elegant. The first place to start is to pick out the color of your bridesmaids dresses. I like the idea of black dresses with maybe a pink ribbon tied around the waist OR a pink and white flowers maybe some daisies and lily's and roses. Pretty! You could also do the opposite. Pink dress with black ribbon around the waist with white flowers! You could have them hold all white flowers, maybe tied with a black ribbon? And then you could have a boquet of more pink flowers! That's what I did. My colors were sage, white, and pink. The girls wore sage dresses, with white calla lily's, and then I wore my white dress with pink stargazer lily's with some calla lily's and pink and white roses. it was beautiful!
just some ideas to help you out! :) good luck!!

THATS AWESOME!!!!
You should try to get the guys (or at least your hubby-to-be) to wear a black tux with a pink undershirt!!! ^_^ I am so evil.
and
you could use deep purple roses for a bouquet. (they're called "black" roses)
And pink bridesmaid's dresses with black ribbons
And black table cloths with white accent pieces
and you could have your dress trimmed with pink. Just a thought!
AND (I am having wayyy too much fun with this)
i know that SOMEWHERE you can get customized colors disposable cameras, so you could make those some fun colors
and then the CAKE
OHHH THE CAKE!!!
you could totally make it black, pink, and white, if you wanted to.
hehehe.
I need to go get engaged...
heh.

My best friend did this color scheme and it was beautiful. She did white chair covers with black sashes and light pink roses for center pieces. The bridesmaids wore black and carried light pink roses. The cake was half pink and half black, which was really stunning. I love these colors! Good choice and have fun planning.

a beautiful season for a fresh beginning in life!
i would go for cherry blossoms, lots and lots of cherry and/or apple blossoms. they have such beautiful colours in them - several hues of pink and white!
have your seamstress embroider tiny little cherry blossoms here and there on your gown, not too many, just enough to give a hint of colour! get your bridesmaids into pink dresses, with your maid of honour in a shade darker than theirs.
put your flower girl into a white dress with a pink sash or hair ribbon to match your m.o.h. dress.
throw you men into black suits/tuxes and you will all look fabulous!
happy wedding!

Well, it depends on when you're having the wedding.
If it's in the winter, then you should go with black bridesmaid dresses and maybe pink and white flowers.
The groomsmen can have pink cumberbuns and the groom with pink & white flower on his lapel.
If it's in the spring, then you should eliminate the black all together.

You could use the candy Good and Plenty as favors. They are pink and black liquorice. The flowers could be pink with black ribbons. I think the color scheme is unique and would be very pretty. Good Luck.
