i love this girl at my school but she has a bf. she has said she likes me but she will not leave her boyfriend just becausee of that. we used to get along so well and she used to complain about her bf and how she would want to be with me but will wait till after his birthday and stuff. now she is becoming more distant and avoiding every me every time i say i love you or something like that. my friends have all told me to tell her to decide between me and him but im worried that she will not pick me and then think less of me and there will be no chance. but she is leaving to go to uni at the end of the summer next year so i will probably never see her again =( i really want to be with her, i love her so much

Now until summer is quite a ways away, so I wouldn't worry about that.
Do not make her choose. You're right; she will think less of you and probably choose her boyfriend because you're acting like a jerk making ultimatums. The fact that she won't leave her boyfriend but likes you means that she doesn't like you as much as her boyfriend. Your chance of dating her at this time is not good. Don't tell her you love her anymore; she can't reciprocate, so it's just pushing her away. Be her friend for now, and if you prove yourself a better man than her boyfriend, she'll choose you.

I know this makes me sound horrible but Ive done this to a guy before, the exact same situation and everything. I liked him but not as much as my boyfriend & I just didnt want to hurt his feelings so I would tell him I was going to leave my boyfriend for him eventually just so he would have hope & not be so sad. Thats not the right thing to do though. Im sorry but she wants to be with her boyfriend not you.

You need to pull away from her and realize there's a whole world out there. I know it's hard when your in the middle of a situation, but with this much uncertainty now, forcing the issue is only going to make things worse. Back off and if she truly wants to be with you, she will. If not, it wasn't meant to be anyway.
