Not unless you're going to keep them for quite awhile. Refrigeration will help keep them moist I believe.

No. Refrigerating dates will make them mealy due to the high sugar content in them. Some dates will keep (on the shelf) for three to five years! Yum.

Whenever I see dates at the store they are in the kind of refrigerated section. They will probably last longer refrigerated but they can be out and do fine for a while. This kind of depends on what you are stuffing them with though. If it is creme based or something like that then you may want to keep it cool.

lots of people refridge their dates + even keep them for a long time , i prefer to store + use them for a short time as there are so many other dates out there i haven't yet met
