My kids have deleted my sound on the computer- how can I get it back? There a place online to download it?

I doubt it has actually been deleted. more likely muted or the levels turned down.
Go start - Accessories - Entertainment and check the volume control there.
Go start - control panel - sound and check all the levels.
Make sure all the cables and connections for your speakers are correct.

Oh...Its not a big problem. But First u have to identify which mother board or sound card you using. Then search for that driver in Net and u can download it from their official sites or third party sites. To see which sound card you using type "dxdiag" in start->run then launch it with yes. there in sound tab saw the driver you installed and search for similiar one in the net. But before this search for motherboard CD given with your comupter during purchase and there search for audio folder and launch installation in it. this ll restore ur sound back. Hope this ll work well.

Go to start /run click on it and when RUN box open type in there "sndvol32.exe" without "".
See if there is a sign in mute box, clicki on it to remove v from the box, also adjust the volume level from there.
Also right click on computer icon and choose management.. From there when window open click on left pane, device manger. See in right pane if ,sound-video and game controler is present and click the + to expand it.
Find your audio device and right click on it and choose properties. When window open you must see in bottom that device is enabled. if it's disabled click to change it to enable, and reboot.
To avoid such problems in future send your kids for a one-way trip to Alaska,(just jokeing)
