Lots and lots of running. Strengthen your heart and lungs, and most of the punishing regemin will go much easier on you.

Some strength training wouldn't hurt, but during your basic training you will be doing a LOT of running. Build your endurance and you won't have any trouble with the physical demands.

Run everywhere! In boot camp you will run everywhere.
Eat right, and lift weights.
Sleep a lot, since you will be sleep-deprived for most of BMT.
Try really hard to be invisible in BMT. Don't be a blowhard, don't NEED anything, like a cigarette, do not tell ANYONE anything about yourself. (they use it.) Don't HAVE to be a star, just survive it and move on.
Nose to grindstone, no bs, and help anyone you can.
Remember they want to know how you react to stress. Show them what you are made of. Millions made it before you.
Good luck.
Good lessons in life.
