Anytime she can she does! In my bed, or in her kennel.

No. It's a personal preference, but I've known people who've allowed animals in their bed to have a terrible time reconditioning the dog to sleep somewhere else when they no longer want dogs in the bed (because they have a sexual partner, or a new baby). Some people don't have any problems, some people just don't like sleeping with animals.
My dogs have a disused laundry cupboard with the door removed, where their beds are kept.

Absolutly he does. My chi has been sleeping with us/me for the last year and he loves it. I actually sleep better when he is with me...and I cannot go on vacation without him. LOL I'm a wreck. I know there are people that don't agree with having a dog that small with you in bed, but both my fiance and I are sound sleepers and rarely move in bed so we have been fine. My big dog wants to be a bed sleeper, but we need to get a bigger bed for him. He's a hog. =)
And yes, my chi sleeps under the covers in the winter time - he'll tuck under our big quilt, but over the fleece blanket -- it's like a little oven for him

One dog (a 110 lb shepherd) sleeps on the floor in my room. My 17 lb pomeranian sleeps in her crate and/or on the blanket with the shepherd (her choice, the crate is always left open) & my 5 lb pomeranian sleeps in the bed, under the covers all curled up right against my legs! God forbid that she be anywhere away from me!

My 16 -1/2 yr old shih tzu sleeps in my bed or my mothers which ever she wants and always under the covers. She is very warm like a heating pad which keeps me warm.

We have two dogs, one boxer & one miniature pinscher. The MinPin sleeps in his crate as he has a nasty habit of A)Barking at every little noise in the morning (our downstairs neighbor gets up at 5am) B) Pottying in the bedroom (only time he does it is at night, in the bedroom, no where else in the house). The boxer is in our bed, under the covers- she has always slept through the night, does not bark, and when she wakes up she wakes us up. Really depends on the dog!:)

My dog had her bed at the head of my bed. It was level with mine and had a ramp so she could get in it. At night she would always like to go to sleep with her head on my pillow.
She was over 11 years old & died of illness this past Tuesday.

Both of mine sleep in our bed and under the covers. One usually snuggles up against my back and the other curls around down by one of our feet.

I have two dogs. My older one Jack sleeps with us about 1/2 of the time. The younger one, Oliver, sleeps in his kennel. He doesn't quite have great bladder control yet..:) I love snuggling with Jack though. He sleeps like a person...On his back with his head on the pillow.

My 9 mo old, 46 lb puppy sleeps with me every night. He keeps me warm, which is a plus. But then again, its also like sleeping with a toddler, he's all over the place

No. My dog actually likes sleeping in his bed at night. We've tried the bedroom thing and he actually jumped out of our bed into his own.
