yes just don't put those hats on them or tight clothes, just make sure they are comfortable.

All thin-coated breeds, small breeds or dogs with clipped coats should be provided with a coat when you walk them in winter, mini schnauzers included. Doesn't need to be anything fancy - a plain coat from a good pet store will suffice.
Natural materials close to the skin are better than synthetic ones, as they allow the skin to 'breathe' properly and sweat to be absorbed or evaporated.
Make sure she's always supervised when she wears any type of sweater or coat, else she could get it caught on a tree, fence or other obstacle and strangle herself, or injure herself trying to pull away.

As long as it fits okay, it should be fine. Sometimes sweaters can be tricky and annoying to your dog. I have a lapdog and I found a sweater that looked more like a mini horse blanket. It buckles under her belly and around her neck like a halter, so she has complete freedom of movement.
That's what I'd suggest getting.
Good luck! Schnauzers rock =]

Yes if it's a shorthaired dog. Dalmations, Pit bulls, Dobermans, Chihuahuas, etc. Puppies get cold rather easily so it's a good idea to "dress them for the weather" as well.

I put sweaters on mt yorkie when I take him out. He's only 5 pounds and since he doesn't have an undercoat, the extra layers from the sweaters don't hurt him. He's actually warm and toasty in the coldest conditions.

Most dogs have a thick or thin coat of fur for a reason, but smaller dogs{,like my min pins}get very cold even in the house,so they both have sweaters and coats to go outside in.Do I prance them around town in them? Not usually!!!

I never thought I would be one of those people.
But my niece brought home a mini dachshund
She really can't take the cold & needs something to keep her warm so we dress her in the winters. It's funny & reminds me of playing with babies or dolls.
Oh yeah, she's fine wearing the stuff

What does it count what human beings think of? as long as a canine is properly enjoyed and correctly taken cared of i do no longer care what the guy does.. the only time I even have an argument with canine outfits is whilst the canine has long hair and the clothing reason it to matt (tangle).. in the experience that your canine has long hair it would not choose outfits and it somewhat is possibly uncomfortable.. save its hair groomed short in case you choose it to consistently positioned on outfits.. (or harnesses for that count) I basically say this by using fact i'm a canine groomer and proprietors get mad when I tell them i ought to shave their canine by using fact they allowed them to matt.. additionally I save my canine in a pink mohawk... i'm getting some snarky comments too.. yet oh properly.. My canine is properly fed, properly enjoyed, and correctly groomed...Get the **** over it.. :) it somewhat is all you gotta say.. Edit:Pat makes a sturdy factor approximately treating your canine as a human... yet i think of as long as you practice your puppy it somewhat is okay.. additionally a canine who would not prefer to positioned on outfits...won't positioned on outfits... And after an proprietor unearths some grimy, chewed up tutus interior the backyard..they gets the hint...

Of course they are! My pups absolutely need them in this weather! They shake uncontrollably unless they have something on. (when we go outside for bathroom breaks) Just makes sure the clothes you get fits the dog properly!
