Which do you prefer and how do you like them served?

waffles over pancakes for sure!
but if i had it my way i would choose French Toast!

Gee, Jenny, that's a real coin flipper..........again, I like simple:
Big stack of buttermilk pancakes with lots of whipped butter.....No syrup (again, I'll take 'em plain), some good sausage on the side, and I'm happy as a pig in ...........
ON THE OTHER HAND,
Waffles, crisp, with lots of butter and fresh strawberries (that have been cut the night before and stored in tupperware, so they make their own syrup) thrown over the top of the waffles and then doused with a generous topping of whipped cream........Now, it that breakfast or dessert???? Now I'm hungry!!!!

I prefer Belgian waffles served with apple cinnamon topping and pecans with no syrup. I'm better at making pancakes though I put cinnamon and vanilla in the batter, and my favorite syrup is the butter pecan like you find at IHOP. (I don't have a huge thing for pecans, just with these two items.)

That is a tough one. I love them both. A diner near me use to serve an ultimate breakfast. Pancake, waffle, french toast, egg, hash browns, and ham. Syrup and butter on them.

Belgian Waffles with sugar coated all around. these are so yummy !!!!!
I only like pancakes from IHOP and I dont' go there but maybe once a year.
So it's those waffles for sure !

I love fluffy buttermilk pancakes served with butter and maple syrup and sausage patties on the side. I prefer to drink milk with my pancakes too! ;-)

I like both, but I think I like waffles a little better because the butter and syrup collects in the little squares. Mmmmm.....I usually just put butter and syrup, but sometimes powdered sugar is good too. :)
