If Heaven had to be like that and everything that could be done and had in Heaven all had to be OK'd by God first, than Heaven already sounds like a drag. I have no problem praising and thanking Him for something great, but to have all my personal freedom taken away from me and it had to be like "Watch it, you're in my world now", that'd suck. Being here might not be as physcially pleasant as Heaven all the time, but at least here, you can do whatever you enjoy doing and without having God "breathing down your neck". Heaven sounds like a place where God "breathes down your neck every second of the day and will send you to Hell the second you step out of line".

I don't like this interpretation of Heaven at all!

I don't know where you heard or read this, but it is wrong. Not to worry, you'll like Heaven.

Read and learn God's true Word, here is a day by day outline on how to read and study the Bible:

Whoever gave you that interpretation of Heaven was not giving you the whole story. If you believe in heaven at all, you get there because God is "breathing down your neck" on earth. Moreover, the things that could be done and had in heaven are plentiful enough and pre-OKayed so that you have ample selection for an eternity.

Of course, if you think the "other place" is better, there is nothing to stop you from requesting that when the time comes.

its better then going to HELL! u have to do the same there!
plus HEAVEN is not like that at all! especially if you make it there. Cause wants you make it there he could never send you to HELL. As soon as you belive in him, no matter how bad you are, GOD could never turn you away from living with him for eternity! plus if you read the bible, he tells you what it will be like in HEAVEN. There will be no sin, it will be nothing but peacful. The bible kind of explanes to us in a way we understand. It will be sort of like Earth but there will be know sin, crime, or people doing harm to each other! I know its hard for us to understand sometimes if not all time because to some people it sounds to good to be true. HEAVEN wont be a drag, because when your there you wont have the same mind frame as you do here on earth. You shoud be able to give GOD glory just for giving you a chance to come be with him!

Heaven, or the afterlife has been described as you have said. I believe this is a shallow interpretation of what has been written. I think when you become a total spiritual being the choices you have will be different as night is to day as when you are bound to this physical world. The choices may well be infinite. We can't see with our eyes and understanding because we are bound in the physical. With our finite mind and eyes it is probably impossible to grasp the infinite that we become part of as a spiritual being. Don't fret soon enough you will know when this life is done. For now enjoy your time here and live the best life you can so you don't miss the gifts we have here.
God has given us a measure of free will here make the best of it. I don't believe He would rob you of it after death.

the way that you described Heaven is not that way at all. yes God created this earth and yes He is in control of our lives. but there is a plan for every person's life and we will never know it if we decide to run our life without God. It is not as bad as you are describing it. God won't breathe down your neck. you should already be giving your life to God

No, once you get to heaven you won't go to hell. That would be useless. As for breathing down your neck, it sounds as if you don't want to be with God as it is, for if you love God and keep His commandments, you will have no problem doing His will for the rest of eternity. I'm thinking you love your free will more than you love God, and you'll have to give up that before you go anywhere near eternal existence. Just think of the rich man who tried to get into heaven-he had to give up everything. Jesus said it would be easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. Give up your will to do what YOU want, start doing what GOD wants, and you'll love heaven.

while you're an atheist, your get entry to to Heaven is nil. There are 2 different places available: reincarnation onto earth as residing ingredient or Hell. For the docs and nurses who harvest organs from stay Falun Gong practitioners in China, and for the policemen and prisoner guards killed Falun Gong practitioners, and for the terrorists who killed a lot of human beings, their get entry to to Hell is waiting for. while you're non secular and in case you have achieved alright interior the secular perception, have love and help others like the Gods do, your threat are so plenty extra helpful for a place in Heaven.

I don't like that interpretation of Heaven either because it is totally wrong. He just wants things done His way and He won't be breathing down your neck, just making sure your not breathing down some one Else's.

Always interesting to hear divergent opinions. I think you must be thinking about the world religions or perhaps interpretations about Christ or the Old Testament.
I doubt God ask such things of you. Could be one really bad Catholic school experience set your teeth on edge.
" some men have had a deep conviction of their destiny.. and in that conviction have prospered...but when they cease to act as a instrument and think of themselves as the active source of what they do... their pride is punished by disaster...
the conquest of destiny leaves us with a mystery but it is a mystery not contrary to Eden.. for it implies that the world and the course of human history have meaning...only in humility, charity and purity can we be prepared to receive the grace of God without this human operation ordained"

It won't be like that... there is no evil, you would never be tempted to do wrong... nor would you ever want to, or even know about sin. We tend to think of heaven through the mindset of this world... but it will be completely different then...
