My puppy ate about a cup of cat food will that hurt her or make her throw up?

It isn't good for dogs to eat cat food. But if she did it once, it won't hurt her. She might throw up, or nothing may happen. Just try to keep the cat food out of her reach from now on.

Dogs like cat food because it's easier to digest for a canine. Dogs eat out of litter boxes for the same reason.

Your dog will be fine. Just find a different place to keep the cat food.

Cat food tends to be higher in fat than dog food. It may give your dog diarrhea but it should not endanger your dog otherwise. Also, since cats are more finicky eaters, their food must be more palatable, to entice them. It sure works to attract dogs. LOL

it will not hurt her, but she might get...gas!!! when a dogs diet changes, it could upset their tummies but it shouldn't last long. always keep the cats food in a different area and feed under a watchful eye.

she will be fine, but don't let her eat anymore. Cat food has too many nutrients in it and isn't really good for dogs.

No it won't our dogs have eaten cat food for years. The least it did to them is filled their tummies.

No not really. But don't feed it regularly, since it's lacks in nutrtients essential to a dog.

No. When I run out of dog food for Beastie, I just give him some of Flossy's( my cat's) food. He seems to be doin' fine to me!!
