Life is a test to see who will get to go to Heaven. If everyone went, what would be the purpose of life?
Life is a also chance for God to see who will be who in Heaven. Life on Earth is like a training camp. Your future role in Heaven is dependent on what you do on Earth.
Committing suicide is like a genius turning in their SAT with only half the answers on the bubble sheet. What a waste of a genius! They'll still get a grade, but they cut themselves short by not allowing their evaluator to see their full potential on the test.
Someone who kills themself is basically insulting Him and wasting everything He put into you by not using the time God gave you to prove to Him that you are deservant of entering His Kingdom. You'll still go to Heaven--if you're saved. If not, it doesn't matter how you die, you will go to Hell.

This is a common thing that has been brought up in alot of different religions. The Catholics say you go to hell. The Mormons say you go to heaven, but the lowest part, or possibly the place in between so you can learn the word. And Christians do not believe suicides go to hell just because they did it. If they truly accept Jesus as their savior, and then 20, or five, or whatever amount of time, years later kill themselves, they go to heaven. But, if they don't accept Jesus truly, then kill themselves, they go to hell.

I wish that was the truth but it's not. But also I don't necessarily believe that suicide damns you to hell. The bible only says there is one unforgivable sin. Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Not that I want to send anyone running for the razor. But also we have to remember that their are people with serious mental problems.

I don't believe that everyone goes to heaven, and I don't believe that everyone 'good' goes to heaven. Why? Because that's NOT what the Bible teaches. The Bible makes a clear distinction that there is a small group of individuals that God will grant the gift of heavenly life to, and the number is set at 144,000 as Revelation 14 brings out. The rest of mankind deemed faithful and obedient by God will get to experience the fulfillment of God's original purpose for mankind: life on earth forever in perfect health and in paradisaic surroundings. The Bible never said or indicated that Adam and Eve would have eventually gone to heaven, it says they were put on earth as perfect individuals and were to have offspring and fill the earth and cultivate it into a global garden.

I don't believe that everyone gets there. My real answer is complicated so I won't even try to get into it.
But with suicide, that's taking the easy way out. If God wants you to live a good life, then why would He want you to cheat? I don't think that everyone who commits suicide goes to hell, because sometimes some people are so emotionally distraught they feel that that is their only option... and while God is a just God, He is also merciful and vice versa.

No, I don't believe everyone goes to heaven, if they did heaven would be no different than earth, certainly no better.
There is only one way to heaven, and that is accepting God's gift of salvation given freely to us by His only begotten Son's willing death on the cross.
We were born with a sin nature...
Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God"
And because of our sin, (which is anything you do contrary to the Word of God, we all deserve to die and spend eternity in hell, Romans 6:23 "The wages of sin is death," the result or penalty for sin is death.
But there's also Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us."
God loved us SO much that even though we sin against Him, disobey and ignore him, (just like our children do) he still loves us (just like we love our children) and because of that great love, he died for us in our place, paying the debt that we could never pay.
Then Romans 10:9 "But if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved"
I believe that if you've done what Romans 10:9 says then yes, you are going to heaven, but unfortunately even while everyone can have the gift of salvation, not everyone recieves it, so no. Not everyone goes to heaven.
But in answer to the comment above, Anyone can go to heaven (people who commit suicide, murderers, child molesters, etc.) if they've accepted God's gift of salvation. It's free to anyone who will receive it.

Yes, I do believe we all eventually do attain the spiritual level known as heaven. Suicide is wrong because it short circuits this learning experience and all the good things that can be experienced here.

I think these days I do not believe you go to heaven when your spirit leaves. I don't know where you go but I seem to think it is like a dream state and I don't know but maybe we all have to wait for the judgment, as it says, He will judge the living and the dead. As you say, if I knew for sure, I wouldn't wait one more second to get off this, planet school.

because for those people that commit suicide, go to hell but those that endure until the end, they will make it into heaven. you have to except Jesus Christ into your heart and that means that you have to have a good relationship with him. That does not mean just to live a life that is good in your own eyes, you have to live a life pleasing unto God. that means dying in the living in the spirit. Putting the old man behind you and living for now. You must live completely by the bible. You cannot live according to your will, you must live according to Gods will. for those that think that your going to heaven after this, without excepting Jesus Christ into your heart, you are wrong, you must indeed except him into your heart because he died on the cross for our sins. It's a must that you have a real relationship with him. That means talking to him praying at all time.. reading the bible daily and you have to be in the church so that the pastor and congregation can help you with anything that you might be going through, through the Lord. When you get into church and ask God to find you a church that is real, in Jesus name, he will find you that church that you asked him and you must follow him in all of his ways. You cannot get into heaven without the son of God (Jesus Christ) that died on the cross for our sins. Except him into your heart, admit that he died on the cross for your sins and find a good Christian church to go to... make sure that its a Christian church that you are going to. You must read the bible daily. i suggest that you get a king james version and read and pray throughout that day and come as you are and be obedient towards him and he will bless you dearly and mold you into what you are meant to be in his eyes.
John 14:6
6Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
