Hey there, I just want to tell you that I do not hate..... I did not read the whole book of the bible where it told the story of Daniel and David....... Was this something that the lord approved of or was it something else that was tempted by the devil All I know is right from wrong. I am a woman and my heart tells me women are more loving and understanding... But I refuse to feel a lifetime of sin over feeling I could have been wrong..Maybe the lord did not choose for me to be a Lesbo.....( No off fence, In my family we go to the shrink. so do not feel belittled.)Lezzy I am not. but my point is There is enough temptation to keep us trying to do right for a long while..
But what feels so bad about being good....God is Good.

Christians:If Daniel and David did it with guys, why can't I do the same?
Answer: You are a Liar and the servant of your father Satan.Proverbs 17:4
A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
Proverbs 17:3-5 (in Context) Proverbs 17 (Whole Chapter)
Proverbs 19:22
The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.
Proverbs 19:21-23 (in Context) Proverbs 19 (Whole Chapter)
Proverbs 30:6
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.
Proverbs 30:5-7 (in Context) Proverbs 30 (Whole Chapter)
John 8:43-45 (King James Version)
43Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
Bible says the Lord brought Daniel into tender love with the prince of the eunuchs.Bible says David and Jonathan fell on each other, wept, and kissed each other until David exceeded. If these guys can be intimate with a man, then don't be telling me not to do it.Explain yourselves.Or do you just prefer to hate?

Daniel 1:9 (KJV)
Tender love is the Hebrew word racham, which describes compassion or mercy. Daniel was brought into a compassionate, merciful state with the prince of Eunuchs. It does not descirbe any kind of sex-act.
That second reference to David and Jonathan is apparently not in the Bible. Perhaps you have a reference?

First, by definition a eunuch is someone who has had his "manhood" removed. So he would have been unable to have any kind of a homosexual relationship with Daniel. It is simply saying that through his honest and hard work, Daniel reached a place of "favor" with the euncuh. The words "tender love" appear nowhere in the event. There is absolutely nothing sexual stated or implied in the story (Daniel 1)
It is true that David and kissed as they were deaprting for what they expected to be the last time in their life. But kissing in such situation was the common practice of that culture, and not an erotic act. If you read the event, it says it caused David to CRY, not to have a orgasm. Again, the words you used are not found in that event. Sorry, but nothing it that heart breaking moment of two childhood friends saying goodbye for the last time justified homosexuality.
There is no support in other of those Bible event for homosexuality.

I knew about David and Jonathan (2 Samuel 1:26) having 'sex' with each other; I would have to research the Daniel and the eunuch thing presently. I realize that man tends presently in this country to view 'what' not why; but God looks on the heart (why) 1 Sam. 16:7.
So it is a matter between you and God (and the other person in this life) come 'judgment day'.

First of all, my tone is not a hateful one.
I looked up the situation between David and Jonathan(1 Sam. 20:41-42). It does say that they wept and kissed, but they didn't "do it" as you suggest.
I also found this passage, 1 Sam. 20:16-17, which says, "And Jonathan made David reaffirm his vow of friendship again, for Jonathan loved David as much as he loved himself."
Some translations say "as much as he loved his own soul" I have a best friend whom I love, as I love myself. I also have a girlfriend whom I love very much. I don't think David and Jonathan loved each other in the way a heterosexual would love a woman.
No, I do not believe in homosexuality. No, I do not hate you.
Can you throw down the passage on Daniel?

The Bible is the most misunderstood book available today. It might benefit you to research more by reading the verses before and after. It may give you a better picture on what was trying to be described. These verses, along with verses in Leviticus are always taken out of context. When all is said and done, if you believe in God, pray about it. If not, then use your own understanding to guide you through.

You totally misinterpreted the Bible. That is def. not what the scriptures are saying, and your just twisting them around to meet your own abominable desires. Why would God contradict himself, by saying "David was a man after God's own heart" and setting Daniel up as an example to teach Christians to pray more and fervently, and then in the book of Genesis destroy two cities because of Sodomy (Homosexuals) Its there read it! I don't hate anyone, I hate sin. And homosexuality is out and out SIN!!!

You're an idiot... it doesn't say anywhere in the Bible that they "did it with each other".
I'm from a culture similar to the middle eastern culture and men do kiss each other, but that has absolutelly nothing to do with the sick things you are talking about. Homosexual behavior is NOT in any way condoned or accepted in the Bible no matter how much you try to twist it.

Poster, there are always those who will not see and are blind to the truth.....especially when the truth doesn't fit into their tiny little world....read on:
David (10th cent. BC) 2nd King of Israel (reign. c.1010-971/961 BC)
Slayer of Goliath, musician and military leader. Famous for his friendship with Jonathan (son of King Saul), whose early death he lamented: "Thy love to me was wonderful, surpassing the love for women."
"Homosexuality and sodomy are not ethical sins. No one is being hurt, no one is being cheated, nobody's rights are being infringed upon. Homosexuality is a religious sin, analogous to other Biblical prohibitions, like not eating the carcass of a dead animal, or not sleeping with a woman during her menstrual cycle." Rabbi Shmuley Boteach 4
