Is there a religion that supports the belief that there is some sort of infinate being or higher power, without saying that there was a human version of him on Earth, besides Judaism?

Maybe also that this higher power is obscure, and not as understood, as most religions seem to have a pretty good explanation of "what God wants".

When I say "human version of God" that would include Jesus, here.

Wow...good question...too bad the answers missed the mark.

Wicca...when did God walk amonst us and tell us He was God?

Buddhists? If you think Buddha went around saying he was God, I wonder what temple you've been studying.

Islam? Nope...Allah never said he would take on human form and walk amongst us.

What I see...is a lot of answers, that while they may know a lot about their traditions and rituals...don't know much more.

As for "He was the most enlightened"...let's look at that...

Jesus said more than once...that He was God. So...either He is 1) Lord - who he says...or 2) Lunatic for believing his own delusions (so much for enlightenment) or 3) Liar...knew he wasn't and said it any how. (Again...take away the most enlightened award from the liar).

When folks say Jesus was the most righteous man, or most moral man... it tells they haven't explored His own claims of deity..otherwise...the pathetic label wouldn't be given to Him.

Jesus.. The Truth..The Way...and only through Him do we reach the Father.

Spiritualism. We believe in a higher force or spirit is at work in the universe. We believe Jesus was the most spiritually enlightened man to ever walk the Earth, but He was not God.

The doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is one in a sense. We believe that we have a Heavenly and Eternal Father. We believe in His son, Jesus Christ, who was the Jehovah of the Old Testament, who created the Earth under the direction of the Father, and who suffered death for us that we might live, fulfilling his Father's purpose. We believe that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are separate beings with perfect, immortal, and physical bodies. We believe that the Holy Ghost is a separate being of spirit, called to witness of the Father and the Son at all times in the hearts of men.
