I bought him 13-1 pair of shoes , will that fit him? He's not my kid.

Every kid's different, "age guides" are that a guide, not a certain to fit scale

My 5 year old son wore a 13. Boy, that was a while ago. Unfortunately boys feet come in a variety of sizes. Best you can do is hang on to the receipt just in case. I do think that they do gift exchanges without receipts during the Christmas season though. Still it may be a good idea to hang on to the receipt just in case. It's like they say, " better safe than sorry ".

My son wears size 13. His other 5 yr old friend over here wears 12. I think those will work fine. If he is closer to 6 get a size 1.

My nephew is 3 and wears size 9. so it's really hard to say....but 13 sounds about right.
If you go to an actual shoe store they'll be able to give you a better idea based off how tall the boy is.
I did that since everyone kept telling me different sizes.

There's no way to say. It's kind of like saying what's the shoe size of a 25-year-old. Some of us have big feet, some small. Five year olds aren't like infants where you can buy shoes according to age. Once a child starts to walk, correct shoe size is important. Whereas an infant doesn't walk and shoes that don't fit exactly right--it doesn't matter.

My son is 9 and where's a 13 while his friend who is 7 where's a young men's size 7.....all depends on the kid. If I was you, I would call the child's parents and ask them what size he wears.

If he just turned 5 or is small for his age 11/12. If he's average height/weight your sizes should be okay. If he's a big boy or almost 6 you may need to go up a size. Good Luck!

My 5 year old son where's a size 13, so you should be fine. If he's a bigger than average kid though, he may wear bigger shoes.

When my son was 5 he wore size 1 but then he's tall. Is this kid very tiny for his age? Big for his age? Avarage? If he's avarage then they should fit. Make sure you keep the recipt if they don't fit he can exchange for a bigger/smaller pair.
