I was diagnosed with manic depressive disorder a while ago, and I know several people who are also manic depressive (aka, bipolar). Everyones symptoms differ from one another.

One thing that most have in common is the variations from a high to low mood. People will experience a period of a week, sometimes more or less, in which they are extremely happy and fun. This period is known as their high. Then, they experience a dramatic change in their mood. They become depressed, angry, and easily annoyed. This is known as their low.

To truly diagnose bipolar disorder, one must visit a psychiatrist, or a professional. They can help prescribe medication or offer advice.

There are different types of bipolar. Bipolar I, Bipolar II and Mixed. Also cycle. Bi polar used to be Manic/Depression. My son was diagnosed recently with Bipolar with Manic tendencies. He rented the biggest U-Haul truck and put ALL his worldly possessions in it. Went seven hours up to Oswego, dropped out of school, opened a store, exhausted all his savings accounts (All in one week mind u) and was picked up by the police trying to walk home with a drawer full of wires. He told the police he was Jesuse and he was going to take over the world and open several stores entitled Us we go. He painted day glow paint all over the store, had racing thoughts, spent endlessly, didnt eat, NEVER slept and ended up in a mental institution. If U have bipolar, there are tests all over the internet. Just type in bipolar and click away. Good luck and may God be with u. I pray you dont have it.
