Most of the time. When we ask for something to be done like clean your room or let the dog out and you say o.k, but yet it never gets done we become frustrated and tend to nag. I have a 14, 10, 3, 1 year old and don't have time to remind someone constantly to get homework done, put there things away etc.. I start out being nice but tend to raise my voice out of frustration and I guess nag. It doesn't mean we love you any less we just want respect too. All us moms was once your age at one time, teen years are rough I know.

May as sad as it sounds your mom is indeed probably trying to do what she believes is in your best interest. Parenting is the toughest job that any of us will ever have and hopefully some day you will find this out first hand yourself. You are either a hero (if you do something that the kids appreciate) or a bum/nag if you try and advice them of your objections. At times it feels that you are competing with other parents who the kids all believe are the coolest and wishing they had parents like that. But bottom line is that although it may appear that she is constantly hounding and nagging at you at the present, when you mature and age a bit you two will probably sit down and laugh about the same things that are bothering you both today.
