and Jesus?
Jesus was sent by Allah, who supported Him with the Holy Spirit, to tell the world Allah's will (Koran 2: 87; 5: 110-117*).
Allah gave to the world Jesus, exalted Him above all others, and supported him with the Holy Spirit as proof of His sovereignty (Koran 2: 253*).
These are not my words, but, those of al Qua'aran.
Yet, Muslims deny Isa bin Maryum al Massihe's Divinity and condemn the Holy Spirit saying the Trinity is wrong!?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but, aren't you supposed to respect the People of the Book?
Why, then do some of you sow discord and make us oppose you?
It is our Season to be Merry, so let me wish you all "Kul'am wa antum bikh'air!"
[for those who don't know Arabic, that's "Happy New Year"]
Ma salamah. [Peace]

I guess you take the New Year to be according to the Muslim Calender; but, my wishing you all was a general thing.

Just to clarify a point, I did not quote the Koran to say there is any Trinity mentioned there, but said that even there, it is clear that Jesus is Sovereign and the Holy Spirit exists.
Question being, therefore, why are you offended by Christians saying "In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen"?
Shall I put it in Arabic for you?
Bismillahi, Bismisa al Massihe, Bisme-Ruh i illahi, Ameen.
Is this acceptable to you, then?
For those who don't understand Arabic, the Muslim salutation "Bismillahi ur Rahman, ur Rahim" translates as "In the Name of God, the Most Beneficient, the Most Merciful."
If you'd try to understand, instead of presuming that you know it all, then, maybe, we wouldn't have so many conflicts.
The Koran doesn't say that Jesus[was no more than a Prophet], please; that's what you say. It says that God said He was Sovereign.
Perhaps if you understand the Word of God, it'll help.

By the way, the Roman Catholic Doctrine does not say they are 3 Gods.
For those Muslims who'd like to say anything otherwise about this, please remember that one of the Names of Allah is "our Father".
If someone calls Isa bin Maryum al Massihe His Son, we should not be offended; because we are all His "Children" and to honor al Massihe is not wrong.
I'm merely trying to make you see sense.
God knows we need it, considering the replies I see here, where people use foul language and even get offended by wished a New Year in their language.
