Losing faith in god or whatever is barely on my scope... it is mildly bitter-sweet.
I miss the pot-lucks after church.

The worst thing was the sudden death of my first wife from menegitis. The best was meeting my second wife.
I still miss my first wife - I remember her most days - but my second wife is an absolute star and a living saint.
I have just seen Andy ...78 's answer above. I wonder why do I dislike atheists. I think the US policies stink but I have enormous sympathy with those who face death as part of their job.

Best: Meeting my husband.
Worst: My mom dying. I was always very close with my mom, closer than with my dad. So after my mom died, I started spending more time with my dad, and we have since developed a closer relationship than I would have had otherwise. So that's something good that came out of something bad.

Yes! I have Lupus. I deal with pain and fatigue daily. But, Lupus has taught me to prioritize and to rely on God's strength. I has given me a better sense of humor and a desire to have more fun.
