So I got a job offer with a huge corporation I applied to.. they called me last friday and offered me a position. The lady told me the next step would be to come in and sign all the paper work and they would call me sometime this week... well it's Friday.. and I know I shouldn't call as I already got the job.. but should I be worried?? I'm getting anxious?

Large corporations are slow with this stuff. Not really sure why. I would wait it out and call either Monday afternoon or Tuesday just to see how everything is going and if you need to do anything else. There is no harm in calling... you already waited a week. Since it is the holiday season things also might be even slower since there are a lot of people out of the office. Congratulations on the job though.

i would call them back today. Be very polite and just say that with all the holidays coming up you were making some plans and you were wondering if they had determined a good day and time for your appointment to sign your employment agreement. They will understand that you want to be sure to keep time open for this meeting. Things get overlooked and even lost in a busy office. Since its the holiday season they may also be a bit shorthanded if people are taking vacations.

Wait until Tuesday and call them to set up a time to come in if they don't get back to you on Monday. Given it is the holiday season and probably year end for most companies they are probably just really busy and couldn't call you back when they said they would. If they called and you have the job don't worry.

Don't be worried. With the holidays coming up, people go on vacation, then others get sick and they fall behind.

But if I were you, I would call on Monday and advised them that you are Following up as there is paper work you need to fill out.

Good luck

Be patient. Large corporations can move slowly sometimes.
If you don't hear by the middle of next week, place a non-anxious follow-up call.

Just call on Monday but don't make them feel bad for not having called you earlier. Before Christmas is always a very hectic time so it is nothing personal.

The day isn't over yet so don't worry yet but if you're still worried, call them later today or on Monday.

I'd call. You technically don't have the job until you sign the paperwork.
