Yes it should be fine. The date on it is usually the sell by date. If you're still worried about it, just smell it when it's thawed, if it doesn't smell nasty, it's fine.

Yes, you should be fine if it has been frozen all this time. The only time you need to worry is if the item has been frozen, thawed, and re-frozen, or if it was bought long after the expiration date.

As long as it was frozen its fine... a lot of times meat packaging will say "USE OR FREEZE BY......." and then the date... So if it was frozen its fine! :o)
You can either thaw it in the microwave or in the fridge.. Its not good to let it thaw by sitting on the counter or anything like that though, So be carefull.

yes if it was frozen previously. The dates are sell by dates for fresh product to be used by to assure the highest quality. If you do thaw it under refrigeration for a day. do not thaw at room temp. this is an unsafe practice. You will not get sick if the product is thawed and used within a couple of days and you handle it properly

December 13, of this year? Of course it's still good. It's been frozen! You can freeze most meat for at least 6 months!
Bad meat is easy to spot, of course it has to be thawed, but it will smell, the color will be off and it will feel slimy.

An expiration date on meat quits being valid if the meat is frozen. That sort of "stops time." Thaw it and cook it; you'll be just fine.

its fine the the expiraton date is the day that the store has to sell it by. since it was frozen it should still be as fresh as the day you bought it

As long is it was covered you should be fine. That expiration is one that is more of a guideline than anything else. Believe me when you thaw it out closely look at it and smell it and if it browns or has any smell at all then it needs to go. Just remember if you thaw and are not sure throw it out......

Should be fine. Supposedly meat can be safe for a very long time. The only thing that suffers is quality. FDA says that you can keep most meat several months before quality goes down.
