a rabbit is more intelligent in the sense that it can figure out how to escape a lot more, plus i think that they can tell the difference between a predator and a person a bit better
a guinea pig, in my opinon, is smarter in the sense that it responds to human interaction more, they long for attention, which is why there should be a second guinea pig for company when you can't handle the guinea pig at the time, but almost all love to be cuddled =]
