really dont want to buy new ones. I need some tips on decorating to cover the clothes. I was thinking I could put some kind of nice drapes with a few plants up on the shelves. What do you think?

yes. i think its a really good idea. you can also just ask the landlord if she/he can just get a door for the closet.

Contact the landlord, there should be closet doors. If the landlord won't get them purchase some nice bedsheets, flat not fitted and hang them. The plants would be a nice touch. Probably high quality silk plants as they don't need sunlight or water, just an occasional dusting off.

I bought some nice but, cheap curtain panels and I got a cafe rod its' tension mounted so there's no "installation" I use that to hide my open closet.

You can also buy some twin bed sheets and sew a slot for the rod to go.... It's very simple...

good luck

You can get a shower curtain rod to hang some drapes from- no holes.

They make some really great room dividers that you could hang
