Songs 7- that's some serious sweet talk!
"How beautiful your sandaled feet...
Your graceful legs are like jewels,
the work of a craftsman's hands.
Your navel is a rounded goblet
that never lacks blended wine.
Your waist is a mound of wheat
encircled by lilies.
Your breasts are like two fawns,
twins of a gazelle.
Your neck is like an ivory tower.
Your eyes are the pools of Heshbon
by the gate of Bath Rabbim."

It goes on, but I will not. I wish a fella could talk to me like that.

God bless you for this, I know the word of God is good for food for the soul. I loved when I ate this verse in Isaiah 58:12 " And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: Thou shalt raise up the foundations(Jesus)of many generations: And thou shalt be called, The Repairer Of The Breach(error), The Restorer Of Paths(Truths)to dwell in ". This is such a prophectic and fitting titles to such vessels God will use in the end times before the 2nd Advent(coming) of Jesus !

"A new commandment I give unto you
That you love one another.
As I have loved you, that you also love one another.
By this shall all men know that you are my disciples."

Although Jesus often clarified His Father's commandments, this is the one and ONLY time He ever gave a commandment (a commandment is NOT a suggestion, kiddies!) in His Own right.
So, what was so important to our Immanuel that He chose to use the "C" word?
LOVE ONE ANOTHER!! And not just any love, mind you, but "AS I HAVE LOVED YOU"!!
He qualified it, too..."By this shall all men know that you are my disciples"....

Anyone who has read and understands the Bible MUST realize that Christians are people who practice love...if they claim they have read it and understood it, but don't know that simple fact, they are obviously lying, and we need not concern ourselves with their slander...

OH, and another of my favorite verses
"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine"...

☺

Luv em all! But I'd have to say that one that touched my heart in a way is "I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture" This MAKES me believe that if I enter unto Christ that there will be a place for me in Heaven. Makes me want to :)

I agree with CoCo. John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life

Jeremiah 17:9; The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [ perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind ]?

Why? Because this is reality! This is God telling us what we really are regardless of what we think we are.

Romans 8:35-39 (New International Version)

35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36As it is written:
"For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."[a] 37No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter HOW BAD that we screw-up, Jesus will ALWAYS be there to forgive us, & restore our fellowship with Him
