1st Satan came to me and promised me a fortune and immense god-like power. (I laughed at his face, for all he could offer is worthless illusions of make-believe. An empire of dirt; a crown made of plastic; useless puppets as servants; a.k.a. Queen Nothing )
2nd God appeared and thanked me for not falling into temptation and offered me endless gifts. Fortune; fame; children; love; goodness; peace; knowledge; a kingdom. (I laughed at his face, for here I was standing before God and all he could offer me was nothing more; nothing less than what Satan offered. Thus, I thanked him, but told him to keep his make-believe gifts.)
3rd Man appeared and glorified my existence for I had transcended beyond human limits. They offered me an existence of fortune, fame, love, goodness, power...etc..(I laughed so hard; then thanked them, but told them to keep their " precious make-believe junk".)
I came to a conclusion that all life is vain. We're just greedy children playing in mud building hope.

No. I have known several atheists who have "continue[d] to be an atheist when faced with the worst pain and hardships in life". Two of them, a United States Marine and a member of the Massachusetts National Guard, have literally been atheists in foxholes. Your claim that "all people seek God in one way or another" is also patently false. You're entitled to believe that, but it sounds ridiculous when applied to people who don't believe your god even exists. Why would we seek help from a being we know isn't real? That doesn't make any sense. I think this kind of thinking comes from the misconception, commonly held by Christians, that atheists really believe that the Christian god exists, but just deny it for personal reasons. This is, of course, also patently false.

well, fake life is rather vague, what exactly do you mean by that? I would say my life isnt fake. And i dont worship useless junk, i enjoy it, but to worship it would mean i actually care about it, and place immense value on it. If i had to buy a crappy car over buying my porsche, its really no big deal to me. I can afford a porsche, but i live in a slum of a house because i made a contract with the local government that i would fix it up and live in it for a period of 2 years before i sold it.

your accusation is quite petty, How about you list to me a christian who doesnt live a fake life, saying one thing and doing another, thats pretty fake to me. And worshiping useless junk, how about all these super rich pastors, churches, etc etc who have taken millions from people like you, so they can live wealthy lifes.

You have it backwords my dear.

Pretty much every religious person in the world.

No wonder you think all life is in vain, you're living a religion that would like you to feel that way. Guess your god isn't about love and hope huh? By your own admission he seems to be the most depressing jerk possible.

Thats one way to look at life.

Its kinda depressing, and as long as you are going to breath air and exist on this spec in the universe, I don't understand why you wouldn't choose to be positive and happy?

I only have around 24,800 days of life to live. I have already spent 13322 of them. That leaves only 11,000 days to do what I choose with life. It seems to me that spending that time, in depression is a waste.

Why not help others with your time, if you have decide to waste it in hopelessness anyway?

BTW, Satan does'nt exist. He's a made-up scapegoat for all of man-kind. All evil on the planet comes from man himself.

Yeah, we all know that life is pointless, all rewards are fleeting and essentially insignificant, and all that niceness. But, you have to go on living anyway, because, frankly, you've got nothing to lose.

My first thought was to Answer "myself". After thinking about it I realized it isn't true. I am an ex believer.
The truth is I don't personally know anybody who hasn't.

Life is what you make of it. Coming to that conclusion seems like your way of giving in.
