do they use real alcohol in tv commercials?

does anyone know if they use real alcohol or not. and where could I find proof of this ?

No, they do not. They use tea, water or colored water. Let me see if I can find you proof.

And, just so you know, "milk" is not usually milk. When you see it poured or sitting (only) It is often glue. Real milk looks almost transparent under the lights etc.

No, they don't. They also don't use real drugs in commercials like cough syrups, etc. Often, they don't even use real shampoo in commercials because they have to do so many takes sometimes, it could be harmful to the actor's hair.

I used to do commercials as a child and in 34 commercials only twice did they have the actual product to use in the shoot and those were for pop tarts and honeycomb cereal. (MAN was I sick of pop tarts after that...I never ate them again!)

I even remember them cutting up onion and holding it under my nose to make my eyes tear and my nose run so I could look like I had a cold for a cough syrup commercial!

No, they do not use real alcohol on TV - it is illegal to consume real alcohol on either TV or in the movies. If real alcohol is poured you will never see it being drunk. Most of the time, depending upon what kind of alcohol it is suppose to be, water or tea stand in for hard liquor and near-beer with salt added for real beer.

I don't think they use real anything in commercials. I remember seeing something that said in cereal commercials they use glue instead of milk because it looks better.

yes they do, or these use empty bottles, (i think) but they are not aloud to drink it.
