Jesus Christ- When masturbation and pre-marital sex gets old, or at least when you get married or you can't do them anymore. Buddha- When being rich just ain't enough. Mohammed- Come for the curry, stay for the virgins. Mormons- Join us, or we will keep knocking on your door every morning until you die or the end of time. Whichever comes first. Jehova's Witnesses- Never have to buy another present for anyone ever again, and ditto what the mormons said. Rastafarians- What was the question again? Umm...puff puff pass. That's deep dude. Pastafarianism- When not believing in God just isn't enough. You too can own bumper stickers and t-shirts that annoy every other religion there is. Catholics- Confessions with happy endings. Evangelicals- Love thy neighbor....unless of course your neighbor is gay or a liberal. Jews- All the benefits as always. Now with the least amount of persecution we have ever seen. Native American- We got peyote and spirit guides. Did I mention the peyote? Deist- All the rationale of atheism, minus the stigma. Agnostic- Who knows, and who cares? Really. I don't care. Atheists- We are better than everyone else cause everyone else is dumb. Humanism- Atheists without the hostility. We think everyone is important. Kumbaya my self kumbaya, oh my self, kumbaya.

Honestly I don't really think about it that often. I freely admit I ave no idea what is in the afterlife. I can guess off of lore and theories, but I have no idea. And to be honest, my idea of "eternal life" is my bloodlines. My children and thier children and yeah be religion backs that up in a way.
I live my life for NOW. I am too damn busy raising three kids, trying to sell a house, trying to have a life inbetween raising my kids, trying to remember when my daughters girl scout meeting are, and trying to get ready to move. Death is the last thing on my mind I assure you.

Not really, My religious belief is more about being in harmony with the natural forces that surround me. Being a loving, caring, respectful, and kind human being. If all goes well here and now, then I have no fear of the afterlife.

The opposite - I wish Christianity did not involve offering fire insurance to people. It is primarily a religion about starting a process of becoming a new creation in Christ in which our natural egotistical self-concern is transformed and we become outwardly focused on loving others. We just believe the process continues after death. How dessert ever became the main course baffles me.

I am not religous but this may stun you.

I am a Theist(Pandeist) and I think when I die my brain shuts down along with the rest of my body and I will be completely unaware of what happens to it(or anything) thereafter.

No rewards for me but I till have a belief.

No ....it not the afterlife.....but the life.

scientists will never find the key to endless life in man’s genetic code. The key lies elsewhere. According to the Bible, the root cause of mankind’s death is moral and legal, not biological. The means for restoring everlasting life—Jesus’ ransom sacrifice

In all living things, the desire to keep on living is the most driving instinct we have.

I believe that is the root cause of religion.

With our highly developed brains, our intellect is attempting to override the uncomfortable feelings we have with regard to dying. We create fantasies because we don't like the inherent knowledge that we will not live forever, no matter how badly we want to.

We all get one life, and that's it, after that it's gone.
The only thing that will live on is the impact you make on the world and other people.

My reward is about the afterlife but that is not all my religion has to offer.
