There is no doubt they are. He has given too much freedom to them. He pampers them. He enjoys seeing them succeed in their activities.

Since they actually had to put some effort into their deeds, I don't see how they can be called "spoiled." The truly spoiled lack any motivation to be self-sufficient and are always dependent on someone else. It can be said SOME criminals were spoiled during their lives. Yet many others have endured harsh circumstances.

God loves us all that much. Criminals go through a lot of hell. It's not all fun being a criminal. If you want to look at it like that, wouldn't God be spoiling the rest of us by not making us go through that?

Um, some criminals had wretched upbringings. Not to excuse them or anything...
Are you talking about God granting us suffering so that we might grow closer to Him?
Sometimes I'm certain God allows others to move ahead with my same idea and find success where I found failure--this, I think, is there to offset my weakness for pride.

Humans have free will, just like all the other animals on the planet. Sorry to be so direct, but there is no babysitter in the sky keeping tabs on our deeds, good or bad. We are just one of nature's creatures, and in spite of our superior intellect, many of us have not transcended our most basic and greedy animal instincts.

Of course they are His spoiled children. As a punishment, they will be deprived of their share of milk for the breakfast on the day of the crime.

The more of a righteous person you are, the harsher G-d judges you (i.e., Moses) in this life, but the reward awaits us in the afterlife. Criminals are not judged as harshly by G-d in this life, but their punishment awaits them in the afterlife. Which would you prefer?

I'm not sure I understand you......they are all just people who chose to live differently than others; however, God still loves them regardless of how they live.

Considering that less than 1% of our nation's prison populations are non-believers, they're more likely just his spoiled followers....

No one deserves God's love, but we have it anyway. It's sin that brought all that into this world, it's not God's doings.
