I visit there and saw a display explaining about Jesus and Satan. What does the sign say? (Not your opinion of what it says).

Probably something about being a fallen angel that took 1/3 of Heaven down with him??

I've only been to the DC temple.

There are too many signs at the visitors center in Salt Lake City. Your question is too vague.

I could imagine that it was about Jesus being tempted after fasting for 40 days.

I don't recall what sign you are even talking about, but I do know the Churche's offical response to accusations that we think Jesus and Satan are brothers:

Like other Christians, we believe Jesus is the divine Son of God. Satan is a fallen angel.

As the Apostle Paul wrote, God is the Father of all. That means that all beings were created by God and are His spirit children. Christ, however, was the only begotten in the flesh, and we worship Him as the Son of God and the Savior of mankind.

I live in Salt Lake and do not know of the sign you speak of. If you could be a little more descriptive, I would be happy to go check it out.

There are two visitor's center's on temple square. The larger one, the one to the north, has the status of the Christus. The other one is to the south side. Which one did you see it in?

This comes from the Aaronic Priesthood Manual (for young men)

Help the young men understand that Satan is a spirit son of Heavenly Father born in the morning of the premortal life. He chose evil from the beginning (see D&C 93:25) and gained great power and personal influence. He is described in the scriptures as “an angel of God who was in authority in the presence of God” (D&C 76:25). His eventual rebellion and fall were so tragic and complete that he lost all hope for any degree of salvation, which is why the heavens wept over him (see D&C 76:26).

Basically he is a rebellious son of God.

I wish I knew. I have never been to SLC, but I do plan on going sometime soon. But if you were there and saw the sign don't you know what it said?

There are many displays there.

I remember the one about John the Revelator....

What does that one claim?

How is he still alive after 2000 years? And where is he hiding.
