We are having a pot luck next Thursday at my office and I am supposed to bring something. In the past I have brought things like taco dip, sweet and sour meatballs and sausage balls but I want to try something different. Does anyone have any mouth watering recipes that would be good for a company potluck? There will be about 15 people.

I bet nobody will think of bringing beans, here's a great recipe: Sweet Bourbon Baked Beans (10-13 1/3 servings ) 7/8 lb bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces 1 2/3 onions, chopped 5 (16 ounce) cans baked beans 1 2/3 (15 ounce) kidney beans, drained 3 1/3 tablespoons dark molasses 3 1/3 tablespoons dark brown sugar 5/8 cup bourbon 7/8 cup chili sauce 1 2/3 teaspoons dry mustard 1 2/3 teaspoons cinnamon Preheat oven to 350º. Cook bacon until crisp, drain and set aside, saving bacon drippings. Saute onions in bacon drippings. In a bowl, mix the beans together with the onions, mustard, molasses, sugar, bourbon, chili sauce and cinnamon. Add the bacon bits and fold in gently. Pour into a 2 quart bean pot or casserole. Bake covered for 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes before serving. Bring this to the party, arrive a few mins early and put this in the oven or cook at home and transfer in something that will keep them warm. Have a great time....

I have a terrific Turkish Bean Salad that everyone loves and it is really easy to make. I never have leftovers. It says it serves 6, but for an office potluck where there are lots of dishes, it serves more.

Serves: 6

3 cans cooked cannelini beans drained and rinsed
1 red onion finely diced
1/2 Cup Kalamata olives pitted and halved
2 ripe tomatoes diced
½ teaspoon Allepo pepper (Optional)
1 bunch Italian parsley chopped fine (reserve 1 Tbs. for garnish).
3 hard-boiled eggs quartered
¼ Cup extra-virgin olive oil
3 Tablespoons good red wine vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste

Combine all ingredients except eggs. Refrigerate, covered, for at least one hour. Garnish with quartered eggs and a sprinkle with chopped parsley.

I like to take small chocolate turnovers made with small flour tortillas and good chocolate.

Spread soft butter on a tortilla. For chocolate use broken pieces of bar, milk, semi-sweet, chips, Kisses, German Sweet Baking Choc. or almost any kind of good chocolate. Put small amount in center of tortilla, . Fold using a butchers wrap. Spread top with soft butter and place on baking sheet smooth side up. Bake for about 10 minutes in 400 d. oven. at office, use microwave to heat a couple of seconds. Treat as you would a chocolate croissant. Great served with creamy dip or vanilla ice cream.

Another great take-along. Look in grocery freezer for miniature cream puffs. Stack in a pyramid on pretty plate after you get to office. If chocolate that's all you need. If plain, I like to drizzle with a little chocolate.
