It sure seems that way, at times.

Envy sometimes, on extremely rare occasions, I'd love to be ignorant and not know the things I know. Ignorance is bliss, dontcha know? But most of the time I feel pity for the theist who has his mind locked into Bronze Age superstition and Fear. Imagine, believing in an invisible sky thingy who knows everything you think, say and do, 24/7 and who threatens to send you to hell if you don't 'love' him. I'd be mad, paranoid, fearful of my own shadow and crazy in no time. I’m not surprised psychologists make such good money in the US. Ignorance is still ignorance. There’s good money to be made from religion in both treating it or selling it, IF you can keep a straight face.

No, because at the end of the day we know our lifestyle is healthier.

If you really follow the Bible you:

Don't have to worry about sexually transmitted diseases (no extra marital sex) or the hurt and heartbreak of family disolving due to one partner's stupidity.

Have assurance that things will work out in the end.

Don't die as young because of the health laws.

Have more peaceful families because husbands love their wives, wives honor their husbands. Children obey their parents, and parents don't provoke their children.

Are not harboring resentment.

Are not in debt.

Why would we resent you being able to follow whatever whim when we know that your whims end you up in trouble?

Envious is a better word. And resentful of the fact that atheists are free to live their lives however they want, to contribute positively to society, raise children, support schools, vote for politicians, hold down important jobs, buy and sell stocks and bonds, live morally consistent lives, lawfully, soberly, intelligently and never once, not even for a minute, ever have a thought about god ever pass thru their mind. Religious people simply cannot stand for anyone to be able to live that way. It's easier for religious people to believe in a god who made the earth 6000 years ago, than it is for them to believe that people can live life without believing in god at all! Go figure!

Um, no, sorry.

Edit--Puzzled by the "they're envious we don't have to ask for forgiveness" line. I don't want to do the kind of things that need forgiveness after they are done. I wanted to get married, have a family and career, get an education, socialize, etc. Faith hasn't stopped any of that, and has made me happy besides.

I do what I like, too.

Just because you do what you like, doesn't mean everyone else likes the same thing. People think we Christians are upset because we don't have sex before marriage, or curse, or whatever else we don't do.

Using that logic, are you jealous that you don't get communion, or pray to God?

Do you mean that since atheists don't believe in G-d, that they have no conscience? Or that since they don't have to adhere to any religious laws and observances, hence have more freedom than those who do?

Well I wish I could be a lemur, so yeah, I'm a little jealous.

No. Religious people do what they want also they are just forgiven after the fact by the deity they chose to follow.

I thought you were a Muslim, why are you talikg about religious people in third person not counting yourself among them?

Nah, they do what they like as well. They just pray a lot when they're done so they don't go to the hot place they like to talk about.

They're just mad because we all don't think that way.
