You can try Michael's craft stores. The closest one to the city I know of is in Queens on Northern Boulevard. Also, if you go downtown to the Bowery, there are loads of restaurant supply stores that sell to the general public. They'll have what you're looking for and it will probably be cheaper there.

There's also a restaurant supply store in Chelsea Market on 9th Avenue (where Emeril's show used to be shot).

hi. good success with your cake. In cake baking college a loooong time in the past I found out this tip: Take an incredible sparkling, textile diaper (or the same thickness textile). cut back it into strips the same height because of the fact the cake pans. only only before putting the layers interior the oven to bake. Soak the strips in room-temperature water and wring them out nicely. Pin the strip(s) to tightly in wonderful condition the outdoors of the cake pans. place the layers interior the oven and bake as known. The layers will pop out the same height all the way in the time of actually of having a "hill" interior the middle. this is because of the fact the outdoors of each layer chefs on the same speed because of the fact the middle of the cake ... as a results of moist textile. you ought to use the cloths repeatedly returned. you additionally could be waiting to purchase them in recent times!
