i was on the bus the other day and these girls behind me were saying how they hope no "short boys" would come to thier party, after hearing that i was scared that i might fall into the catogory of being "short and ugly boys". This is where i need your help, how short do you girls out there consider to be short? im 5' 6" btw is that considered short to you girls?

Don't worry, 5' 6" is NOT short. Beside, its the 'ugly' description you should be more worried about. There are certain things we guys cannot control and that is what the girls think of us. Just show up on time, dress nice and groom properly, and talk to the girls with respect. The girls that don't like you after you doing all that are just ones not worth worrying about, no matter what THEY look like.
There's always the thought they could be referring to guys 'equipment', in that case, they are innocent and do not know, it is not the size that matters, it's what you do with it that matters.

It depends on how old you are! I think if those girls are mean enough to say that no short people can come to the party, then you probably don't want to hang out with them anyway! You shouldn't have to feel scared about your height! Guys grow until they're in their early 20's, so if I were you, I'd avoid those girls and keep growing! :)

"short" is different to everybody. it all depends on how tall someone is. for me, i'm a taller female, so 5'6 is shorter than i am. however, just because you may be stereotypically "short", doesn't mean you are ugly. there are plenty of very attractive shorter men. everybody has their own taste. some like tall men, some may prefer shorter, others it may not matter. my friend only goes for the more petite guy. ones who are shorter than she is. it's all a matter of preference my dear.
don't let those girls get to you. i'm sure you've seen those talk shows where people blossomed a little later than most then confront the people who made life hard on them. i'm one of those "late bloomers" and LOVE the looks i get from the people who used to poke fun at me. ;)

Short is relative to those you are near by, including people in wheelchairs, you can be either short or tall. If you are standing alone at a party and treat me with manners and respect and pleasant, interesting conversation it really doesn't matter unless you have poor dental hygiene or body odor. Quality relationships worth your time will emerge in your life based on your personality and character.

Thats okay height to be at, there are plenty of people who are four feet tall, they live happy fullfilling lives (or they become rapists, but thats only a few of the majority). Depending on how old you are you might grow more, dont worry about it. When your older girls will be saying " i hope the poor guys doen't come to the party" Stand tall like the mighty oak, and walk like an egyptian... so sayeth the bible. hope that helped.

5'6'' is consider average actually. To some people especially girls with the height of 5'3'' and above, these guys are short. Usually people thinks that the height of 5'7'' and above is a common height a guy should have.

no thats not realy short short for a guy is like 5 feet and lower althoue it dose kinda deepened on age but another way to tell is were you taller then the girls that said that if so they wouldn't cosider you short i hope i helped

You know, it really depend on what country and race you come from. In my country, 5'6" is considered a nice height already. BTW I'm 5'7" and already seeing the head of many people in my country rather than their face since w are southeast asians, we are genetically not tall.average height for girls is 5'1" for boys 5'3".

Its funny that no actual girl has answered this question yet. To me, you would be considered short. However, I have no idea how old you are, but I'm assuming since you're riding a bus you're still in school. So you probably wouldn't be short to them.
