Of course, the LORD Jesus Christ is the center or nucleus of everything spiritual; keeping looking for Him in scripture, it's amazing how He appears in so many parables hidden from many!

Remember, the right hand is the good side. The left hand is the opposite. That's why the left hand's name, sinister, has come to mean something evil. And the right hand's name, dexter, gives us the word dextrous, or having ability.

To come from God's right hand is therefore to be a good thing. The verse is saying that pleasure is a good thing, since it comes from the right hand of God. And the fullest expression of that pleasure is joy. As such, you may make a case for it symbolizing Jesus as His salvation is certainly an occasion for the "fullness of joy".

Amen... I truly believe that this verse has some deep significance sweet sister:)
I also believe that this verse that you quoted is significant as it relates to the Lord in His ascension. He is at the right Hand of the Father...He is the Path of life... Think about it sister..there is a path of life in this world and its has everything to do with the wondeful person called Jesus Christ.
Just look at this verse in Acts 2:28 how much it links with this beautiful verse in Psalms 16
" You have made known to me the ways of life; You will make me full of gladness with Your presence"
Wow..Isn't the bible amazing!!!

The Lord died that He might release His life to us. If there is no death then there is no life. As the grain of wheat the Lord fell into the earth to die so that the Life in Him could be released to us. For us it is the same. We die daily to our own selves, living a crucified life because sister.. on the other side of the Cross is RESURRECTION LIFE! May we daily take this way.

This Christ Who is our Life and the Way Truth and Life is seated and enthroned at the Right hand of the Father. All that He has attained and accomplished sister, has been poured into the Church as His body. We are just so blessed.
We have His very presence.. He is living in us to be our supply of Joy as our strength to go on day by day. This ascended Lord Mediates for us, He is our Heavenly Shepherd, Our High Priest.. Today He is carrying out this wonderful heavenly Ministry at the right hand of the Father..

Eph 2:6
And raised us up together with Him and seated us together with Him in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus.

Very good post sister.
Yours in Christ

I think it is referring to experiencing his presence. This would be in intense times of worship. Sometimes we feel like there is a glass ceiling that separates us from God. We need to break through that, and get into his thrown room, because then do we experience the fullness of joy.

Now couple this verse with Nehemiah 8:10. For the joy of the LORD is your strength.

When one is on the path of life, it is because Jesus has given them eternal life within. Jesus is the only one who can give eternal life and this is why He is the only path, the only way, the only One who will take you to heaven when you die. With out Jesus Christ and His Holy Spirit abiding in you, that person will not enter the kingdom and glories of Heaven. A person could be a monk all his life, and if he has not the Spirit of Christ within, He will be sadly disappointed.

The "right hand" is the hand that God works with. In the Hebrew Scriptures the "right hand" can refer to someone's livehood or someone's good works.
Yes, I do believe this could be a Messianic prophesy. Shalom.

Yes.
Peter pointedly stated this was referrinig to Jesus when He preached on the Day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit was poured out:

"Men of Israel, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. This man was handed over to you by God's set purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But God raised him from the dead, freeing him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on him. David said about him:
" 'I saw the Lord always before me.
Because he is at my right hand,
I will not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices;
my body also will live in hope,
because you will not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One see decay.
You have made known to me the paths of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence.'

"Brothers, I can tell you confidently that the patriarch David died and was buried, and his tomb is here to this day. But he was a prophet and knew that God had promised him on oath that he would place one of his descendants on his throne.Seeing what was ahead, he spoke of the resurrection of the Christ, that he was not abandoned to the grave, nor did his body see decay. God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact. Exalted to the right hand of God, he has received from the Father the promised Holy Spirit and has poured out what you now see and hear.

Right, right hand, righteous, To be in right standing with God is basically what it means. When you are in right standing with God, there are always pleasures to experience.

Wouldn't you agree?

Merry Christmas.

AMEN lovechrist, the right hand is where I wanna be. Jesus is the one who will lead us, if we believe, trust and have faith in him. I will follow Jesus anywhere, to be with God. That means that we have to follow God's will and repent our sins and be saved. God Bless and Happy Holidays!!!!!!!!
