"Abashed the devil stood and saw how awful goodness is."- Satan

I bet he saw God doing the opposite of what he preached.

When Milton wrote those lines he used the term "awful" in the context of HIS time. It meant awe-filled. That's why Satan was abashed, which means blown away by the bigness of it.

And God doesn't "preach". That's man's task.

God IS. God does. God does NOT contradict Himself or His Word.

And you need to learn something beyond first grade subjects.

Hey, if Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit can all be one and talk about eachother in teh 3rd person, then I suppose it's only fair that Satan and Lucifer and the Devil can all be one and talk about eachother in the 3rd person.

You know nothing. Before you ask ridiculous questions do some research. God is good and perfect, men are the hypocrites. Bless you, God loves you no matter what. Read the Bible, don't just go spouting off your own"opinion" when it has no basis.

Satan saw people doing good things in the face of adversity and was amazed that he could not corrupt these people.

I think it must have been when God destroyed Satan using Satan's own malice at the cross of Christ.

It was over in Hell Creek, planting fossils. He said it because he was tired after a half a day's hard work.
