Was the irony intentional? If so, funny. If not...well, still funny, but for different reasons.

Each person gives the holiday its meaning. The meaning for me may not be the same as for you. That would not cause me to wish you anything but joy and happiness during your holiday. Same goes for Hanukah, Yule, and Kwanzaa.

Besides, X is the Greek letter that stands for Christ, so nobody is x-ing Christ out when they write Xmas.

"x" has an Old English meaning of "chris" or "with god".
But all you fake xians seem to lose old translations or origins of words.
Much rather point out how YOU are a persecuted majority.
Once you are being fed to lions as sport we will talk.
Meanwhile political candidates openly say that Americans NEED religion in order to have freedom.
You are being persecuted? Right.

I once worked as a male porn star for a film company that did a film about Christmas and of course it was pornographic but the working title was "Mary XXXmas!" Needless to say, I never got paid for my work, but I did keep the holiday from losing it's meaning!

Which meaning??? The actual pagan rituals or the commercialization that corporations count on for year end profits???

In case you've been asleep for the past 1000 years...Christ has nothing to do with Christmas...it's just propaganda to make us feel better for putting ourselves into debt by purchasing crap we will end up throwing away in 6 months...

I thought that the X stood for Chris like in Chris-Cross. But I definitely agree with you 100%.

I find it funny that you wrote
Keep the 'Christ' in Xmas
was it too much to bother to write Christmas ....
you didn't even keep it in the word ...
I'll assume you just hate typing.

Yes we should keep Christ in Christmas !

Do so if that is what you want. Personally, I don't. I received a Christmas card from my sister and her self-styled lay baptist preacher yesterday. For the first time, they sent me a card that did not involve something religious. I couldn't believe it!
