While Christmas signifies the birth of Jesus, I would have to say that I like Easter better, since it signifies our freedom from sin.

I love what we celebrate on these days not the way in which most people celebrate them. The fact that Christmas day was a former pagan holiday throws me off but I celebrate Christs birth on this day and have no care as to what ignorant people say or do. On Easter my family celebrates by washing each others feet just as Jesus did for his disciples. we celebrate his Resurrection, we do not hunt for eggs and play with bunny rabbits.

I love Christmas more because it causes more love.
On the other hand, it can be very annoying, what with idiot relatives to meet, giant corporations trying to sell me tasteless fripperies in the guise of useful gifts, can't get any blimmin' work done due to work-shy scoundrels taking a long holiday, may they all rot in hell!
Sorry, I mean I am filled with love for my fellows of all nations and genders (including those who haven't made their minds up yet) at this festive season.
Peace be upon your house (or rented condominium).

Easter is the most important holiday for us - the resurrection being the crux of our faith.
I enjoy Christmas, the spirit of giving it inspires in everyone, regardless of religion. It is the start of the liturgical season in the Church.
But Easter is more joyful, the weather is warming up and everything is coming back to life (at least for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere). The season of Lent seems more important than the season of Advent to me, and it impacts out daily lives more.
I don't think I "love" one more than the other, but I recognize the significance of each season and realize which is more "important."

As a christian, I like both holidays, of course. Just a thought, Mandy answered X-Mas, christians don't call it X-Mas because the X marks out Christ. Merry CHRISTmas to you!!!

actually both- because if He was not born, He would not have been crucified for our sins, and rose for our victory over sin and death. Every Christmas I remember the reason that He came.
