What exactly is drunk dialing? There must be more to it than just calling someone while drunk?

No sweetie - that's pretty much the whole thing right there. Dialing someone when you are drunk is fine - as long as it's to order a pizza or something simple that you can handle. However, when you're drunk and decide to dial up your ex and tell them how badly you want them back; or dial up a new love interest and tell them just how in love you are with them; or call your friend that lives in another state and tell them how disappointed you are in their choice of a fiancee...THAT is "drunk dialing." It's anytime you make an *** of yourself and completely regret and/or don't recall the conversation. A word of advice - cell phones and alcohol DO NOT MIX!

Na that just about sums it up!! The funny thing is, it always sounds like a good idea at the time and when you wake up the next morning and check your call log you go S#IT. Thats about the time your buddy comes in and starts laughing as he proceeds to tell you how you called and confessed your undying love for you ex at 4 in the morning!! Its a great time you should try it sometime

The idea is that when drunk, you don't necessarily think clearly about who you call or what you say. So a lot of times, you'll end up calling someone you dumped like 2 weeks ago and acting like you want them back. Or calling someone you want to date and making a complete *** of yourself.
