Can't run in the dream?

Question

To frequently dream not being able to run though being able to walk normally, what does it mean?

Its one of those "common" dreams, among being naked in public and similar, and for a years whenever I was bad dreaming it was the same: in crucial moments when I need to run away from something/somebody I freeze and cant move. I start to panic as it/him approaches and than wake up. I was told that it means running from responsibility or fear to face problems, and I guess it is something that can be related to me.
But it stopped long time ago.
And was replaced with dreams where I must drive car although I don't have drivers license.
So it means: I finally faced with all my problems and fears, but still cant drive a car :)

I think it means you're faced with challenges too serious to handle, at least in this phase of your life. Running should be an active way of solving the issues, and not being able to run means you're overwhelmed by these issues. You're lacking either the energy to solve them or the right tools. Your subconscious self may be trying to tell you you need to grow out of this situation, or you are currently in that process. The same goes for narrow passages we have to go through - signaling that we're growing out of a too tight 'shell' and going on to the next stage in life. Anyhow, I hope your growth is for the better and part of your personal growth or self-actualization plan:)

Its good that your dream shows you're walking. Going forward symbolizes progress. However, not being able to run could mean that you cant improve yourself fast or you cant move on too fast. The dream is telling you to help yourself move on faster.

i have dreamt similar dreams before. people usually interpretes that as unpreparedness. i disagree.
for the many times i've dreamt something like that, i can say this...

you are probably going through something or is about to do something that is important to you.
in reality, we tend to run if we are scared of something and tends to be frozen in place when we are very nervous.
in our dreams when its the subconcious that is more active, the feeling tend to mix and our fears and anxieties seem to materialize into something that would surely make anyone go for a rush to somewhere else. the feeling is not good.
when you wake up in the morning or wake up from that dream itself, it's like the feeling is still there.
just remember, it is only a dream. in real life, we always make decisions and unlike those people who do not care which one they make, we who do not take things for granted tend to feel pressure. learn to relax. just try your best to choose the right decision. it's the more important thing.

If I can, I jump off a building just so I get that feeling in my stomach (**only if I know it is a dream**)

i have had this problem in the past but by no means am i an expert but i have come to understand that there is something going on in my life that i need to deal with in a slow careful manner insteadof trying to out run it hope this helps
