i would assume its because their children are at school or if they have young ones then they get on here during nap time. maybe they have good spouses who help out and give them a little bit of a break everyday. just because we're parents doesn't mean we don't have down time for ourselves...we'd go nuts without it. time management is a wonderful thing!!!!

I wondered that too lol. I thought I was on a lot but definatly not near as much as some people! Of course this could be the only website they visit, I know I only go to about three sites, and so I obviously spend more time on them than those who float around on the internet.

very well put Brandi.I'm wondering if your question is a dig at mothers? Because if it is then i guess you have not seen the mother's on myspace.but as a mother we are very good at multitasking.if We are on The computer I would assume we are "home" Taking care of our children. Because of course the computer is located of course in the again Home. The topics from the mothers are ? Now what about the mother's not in the home. I think its a great thing all these stay at home mom's Raising there beautiful children.

Some mothers are pretty darn good. Kinda like Melcom's mother from the series, "In the middle"
Some mothers have nannies.
Some mothers are nocturnal
Some mothers have free time when Kids are at school.

I'm not a top contributor this week, but I have been before.

I do much of my posting while I'm at work (slow job w/internet access) & dad's home with the kids after school (he works 3rd shift).

I used to have a tc badge. I have 6 kids, 15 months to 10 years. I'm a sahm. I got the tc badge by only contributing in Parenting as I didn't have enough time to sit for hours looking through other categories. I would go on when my 3 youngest napped, and at night as I'm a hopeless insomniac. Now that I sleep better I've lost my tc badge.
Think before you judge, do you have children? It sounds like you don't, or you'd understand the mother's ability to juggle in some 'me' time, lol.

I have often wondered that myself. And what really gets me about them, is that I have seen some of these top contributers mention that they are SAHM's and cut down women who work outside the home, saying they aren't spending enough time with their children. If a SAHM has managed to collect enough points to be a top contributer or on the leader board, then I would wonder where is all this quality time they claim to be spending with their own children? Seems to me that perhaps they aren't really spending as much time with their own kids as they claim to be.

Some of them might have grown kids, or their kids are in school or they answer a lot of questions while their kids are napping or playing on their own.

*giggle*... I admit, I'm on the internet a bit too much. Can't help myself sometimes... there's a lot of dirt on here at times, can't pass it up. ;)
