About Sleeping nude?

Question

I don't mind sleeping in the buff, I pretty much do anyway( I only normally wear boxers to bed).
So now I figure whats the point? problem being though is I share a room with my older brother. We've both seen eachothers equipment on dozens of occasions, and I know for a fact he sleeps naked all the time. We're comfortable enough to walk naked around each other. Like I said he sleeps naked, and we share a room, but for some reason I feel slightly a little bit funny (tiniest little niggling feeling in the very back of my head)about sleeping naked around him, for such an extended period of time(round 8-10 hours a night). Then theres the other feeling that says don't be stupid and do it.
We're like the best mates ever, and neither of us has anything the other hasn't seen, so I don't think he'd mind to much.
What do y'all reckon?
Have you ever been naked around a brother/sister/friend before? and did you /would you be comfortable with it?

no it's not a big deal at all but if you feel uncomfortable about it then don't do it.

I am a 17yo girl, and I have a 15yo brother. I have been sleeping nude for over 2 years. Most mornings I get up and go to the bathroom without bothering to put anything on. So my brother and Mum and Dad have all seen me but that's no big deal. My brother has his own room, but I have seen him nude sometimes in the bathroom too. Again, no big deal.
Your body is your body, and you have the right to determine who sees you and who doesn't. You say your bro has seen you plenty of times nude so I say go for it and try sleeping nude a few times. Do it more than once bc the 1st time will probably seem a bit weird. Try for maybe a week, and then if u don't like it go back to wearing boxers or whatever. And if u do like it, keep sleeping nude.

But beware, u might find its the most comfy way to sleep, and you'll hate wearing anything to bed in the future.

Go for it.
I share a room with my little brother (15) and I've been sleeping naked on and off for a few years, just whenever I feel like it, not every night. you both have the same gear, so no point hiding it really.

Nah, anyway just do it .My brother's been trying it out too, and there's only been a couple of occasions where its been a problem.
But you've both seen it all, and if either party stands to attention or anything like that, during the night or in the morning, and the other sees, no drama, laugh about it later.
If you're that gooder friends with your brother he won't mind, like you said, he does it already-why not you?

You have to make up your own mind. Given that he sleeps nude and seems to have no problem with nudity I can't see what the problem is.

I usually sleep nude. If I had to share a room on a regular basis with someone female who also slept naked I certainly would have no problem doing so. I think it is true however that whilst women don't feel in general that naked women are a threat, men do feel that naked men can be a threat, so maybe there is a problem there.

My spouse and that i delight in snoozing nude. As human beings have already pronounced it is an incredible freeing feeling. I slept nude even till now I met my spouse. Now with a bare significant different to cuddle with, the sensation is staggering. NiF

I don't think you should worry about a sibling seeing you naked. If your brother is a prankster, watch out for him taking pictures of you in compromising positions, but for the most part, you should be okay.

I've been naked around my sister often. We never slept naked together and never shared a room. I'm not one for sleeping naked anyway, so I probably wouldn't do it because I'd be uncomfortable (and cold!) without clothing in bed, but it wouldn't be because of her.

I'm a girl, and I've never been naked around my brothers. I don't get naked in front of my sisters, either. I have shared a room with both of my sisters at one point or another, and we might both get dressed in there at the same time, but we don't look. But I definitely wouldn't sleep naked with anyone from my family in my room, nope.

I sleep naked in the house with my boyfriend and my girlfriends (platonic) and I all go to the bathroom and take turns in the shower/bath, drying our hair, etc... BUT I would say if you are at all uncomfortable, go ahead and cover up. Wear your boxers. It doesn't hurt anyone for you to sleep covered.

Yes. But not in front of sisters, for sure.

I go to gym. I see men of all types walking around before hitting the shower. It does not bother me a bit.

But sleeping nude? There is one small risk (or big risk, depending on your view). The instrument gets up and stands erect in your sleep. You may not even know it. This is normal.

If by chance your bro wakes up and witnesses your wee willy winkie is all up and standing in attention he may tie a string around it and hang it up to the ceiling.

I have done it at college to my room mate, LOL, and even called friends from other rooms for a view. That's really funny.

Moral? don't sleep in the nude unless you are alone or with your girlfriend, of course.

I haven't been naked around a sibling in years. YEARS. We change in front of each other but no nakedness. I think it'd be a little awkward. But your situation sounds different... Just ask him if he cares if you sleep naked. It doesn't sound like he will.

Well I have 5 brothers and 1 sister and at one time or another we have been nude infront of each other growing up.
As for sleeping nude I have slept nude for 30 years.
