Everyone, including myself. We're all deserving of a good smiting because we've all sinned. No locusts or lightning here. How about the lake of fire and eternal torment? God is patient with us and he has withheld pouring out His wrath on us. We are all living under His mercy and compassion, especially those in this country. And we do not even deserve His kindness. Judgment is coming and the only way to escape it is to believe in Jesus Christ.

I certainly would smite myself for all the transgressions I have committed.
Fortunately God is MUCH more merciful than I am deserving of.

I'm not much into smiting, but I'd probably take a compassionate route and just strike the baddies down with massive heart attacks.
