I was looking on my boyfriends computer to see if he had been looking at wedding rings. Instead I found out that he had been looking at w4m personals on craiglist. Is there any chance that he is doing this for a cheap thrill? When I ask I know that he will just blow this off and be upset that I looked at his history on the computer.

oh wow, bad signal! what it sounds like to me it could be one of about 3 things.
1. he wants both (a wife and a girlfriend)
or
2. he's trying to see if he's missing anything
or
3. he was just doing it for cheap thrills or laughs, maybe he was just curious and bored and thought to read it.

sorry but this is all that came to my mind

They never change, do they?
He says he wants to marry you so you are true blue and remain in tow.
Meanwhile he's cheating online - if he's doing what he wouldn't do in front of you, he's cheating.
And you would look on his computer because?
Shouldn't the choice of rings be a joint decision?
The sad part is now that you've taken a look at his computer and have found he has stuff to hide then if you marry him, you're going to be taking a look at everything you can everytime you can. Not a good thing.

When he blows up because you looked at his computer, that will be his defense mechanism because he is busted. It is typical of guys who are cheating or thinking about cheating to blow up and make a big fuss about your "crime" to divert attention from the fact that they are screwing around. It IS possible that this was just curiosity on his part with no harm intended, but odds are there is something up. You'd best confront him and clear the air before you think about marrying this man. This doesn't mean he is cheating, but it means his mind is wandering. You two might need to seek counseling before you get engaged. Good luck!

you need to ask him. there is the chance somebody else was looking at stuff on his computer or he hit the wrong key. a silly reason to get in a fight. you should be able to tell by his reaction to your question and go from there. not a good idea to keep anything inside especially if you plan on spending the rest of your life together.

I dont think its a big deal. I have looked at personal ads just to laugh at the desperate people out there looking for love on the internet. If you know him well enough you should know if he would do something like look at personal ads on the computer to actually hook up with people or just for a laugh. How well do you know this guy and what do you think his intent was?

my bf says its like looking at a menu-

he already knows what he's going to order- (thats you) but he cant help but glance at the other meals on the menu- (thats looking at other women)... he has no intention of doing anything- he would never place the order...

it would be like- being told he could never eat 'beans' again when he loves beans- nothing could ever replace beans... he would never taste the peas but he likes to look at the attractive wrapper....

other than that- id say he was probably trying to get advise from other women on what ring to get you.... if he doesnt explain.... tell him he's guna lose you if he doesnt so he should as least try to explain if he wants to keep you!! then he cant win or really lose with out fighting first!! if he refuses then leave... he will wise up and tell you..

Not to defend him, but craigslist is a hoot! I look at it - I'm married with NO intent on cheating on my husband....hell we even look at it together for laughs. Some stuff on there is out of this world!

But on the other hand, why would you want to marry someone that you don't compleatly trust? Isn't that what your doing now? Not to rag on you, but if you can't just ask him and get an honest answer....you don't belong with him. You deserve better.

Good luck with everything!

yeowch..ok that's awkward..hmm well sorry miss but if your worried about ur bf calling the whole thing off with you because you looked at the history on his pc..well he's probalbly a dick to begin with..and seeing that...well hmm that's debatable...there's a probable chance there is something mroe going on here..but i mean, i've got a gf...and i mean where in our early stages, but i've gone on those lava life things..i did it jsut to piss some ppl off and have fun, not for any real meaning..so i dunno....he may have been doing it as a joke or for a thril, but i recommend to ask him about it..if he breaks up with you, you'll no he was an ***

Dude,I think its a bad ideia checking ur boyfriend's computer,u will always find something,ALWAYS!but if it really bothers u,be ready cuz after the marriage it will get worse, and I guess if u tell him what u did,he will never trust u again, knowing that u were invading his privacy...
