Regarding "It's a Wonderful Life"
It used to be shown several times a week, throughout the season, on many different channels in my market until Ted Turner bought the entire Warner Brothers film rights. He did a very smart move, by doing this. He now limits the broadcasts of the films by limiting the distribution. Where I used to dread haveing to flip through and see the film shown all over the place, now, I, kind of, look forward to seeing it, maybe once a year, instead of trying to avoid it.
"The Christmas Story" is now becoming the one that I am getting tired of seeing.
How about the animated short "How the Grinch Stole Xmass."

I believe its "Its a Wonderful Life". Could be the original "Miracle on 34th St". But I think the ownership rights have fallen off of "Wonderful Life" meaning that television stations don't have to pay royalties if they show it.
