I think that everyone should see this...if anyone can come up with one good reason that this should have been deleted, please post.

(Not only is the deleting issue important, but so is the actual issue that this person was posting about to begin with.)

Evidentally it was the answer that was deleted, not the question. My bad. But please continue on as to why anything should get deleted at all if it is only opinion....

any answer that does not mesh with their ridiculously narrow view of the world has to go.

I think that everyone should be allowed to express their opinions but I also believe that we need to respect each other. That response sounded like an attack on christians and I could see why some people would be offended by it.

I do not know why it was deleted unless the deletor did not read it carefully. Obviously there are connotations that would only be dismissed after careful reading.

The idea that a father should have control over his child? That a daughter should have to obey her parent? That until a child is of legal age, he or she has to submit to the parent's authority? My, oh, my, what is this world coming to?

god bless

It didn't deserve to be deleted. The issue discussed in the question is VERY real and VERY serious and if those who support it expect us to sit silently and watch it - it ain't gonna happen, my darlings!

He was basically reported only for uttering the C-word.

EDIT: A.Z., I agree with you. Personally I don't believe in report policy at all. It just ticks me off - can't help it.

It wasn't the question about the purity balls that got deleted, it was his/her answer about Christians being the biggest liars that got the violation. Obviously it was a predudicial offensive answer that more than one user reported. If someone doesn't want to get reported, then why answer with something nasty like that?

You know, can we please get over the unjust deletions? Yes, Y!A is run by a bunch of inbred monkeys who punch buttons and each other's genitals at random, causing questions and answers to be deleted. Whining about it does not help one tiny bit. Their playground, if you don't like it, pick up your toys and leave.

I don't see why they ought to delete it, but I am not one of the moderators. I'm sure it's a tough job, fraught with ambiguity.

It is not hard to find the 'biggest liars' (and I'd like to know how you distinguish them from just ordinary liars) among any group.

Left handers, right handers, tall people, atheists, Latvians, ...

Yahoo, as we all know, needs no good reason.
