It is my understanding that in the Middle East at that time, they only had red grapes, so white wine would not have existed.

Anybody got better historical data on that one?

Jesussaves is right it was not alcoholic wine, this subject will be dealt with forever until He returns. But the evidence is there, sorry I can't really back it up like I have been told why it's not alcohol. But purely simple is that Jesus would not serve alcohol because what does alcohol do to one's judgement? exactly its really just common sense you don't even have to read the scripture on this. What Is funny about communion with the catholics and others that believe as the catholics do. Is that when they supposedly change the wine into His blood that is supposed to be what Jesus said to do. But think about it, your drinking wine which is representing His blood so therefore you are saying His blood is like wine. Wine is alcohol which makes people sin, so how in the world can you say Jesus' blood is like sin? Yes you say it is not wine anymore but really how many of you believe that? Lets give you a big cup of the wine than test your blood content and see what happens.

making wine is eazy go to the store pick up one gallon of grape juice no preservatives empty a little out put some yeast and 2 cups of sugar in it shake put a ballon on top with a rubber band as a holder poke one small hole in it so carbon dioxide can escape wait about a week or two and presto you have wine
