I tend to sing along to any music I hear. Not really sure why, its just something I do. I tend to sign quite quietly if there are other people around.

I was just wondering do other people find it annoying when people sing along to music? I don't at all, I think it's good, but I'd like to know if people get annoyed by it, as I might have to stop doing it :)

Depends -- do you have a good voice? :-) If you do, then it wouldn't bother me. If you sing off-key, if you mangle the lyrics or you sing too loudly, then yes, it would bother me!

It depends on how you do it, and what the music is. If it's a complex classical piece and I'm straining to hear all the nuances, singing might make it hard for me to do that. If it's a popular song on the radio, I'm likely to join in!

(My dad sings or whistles along with music a lot and sometimes I'd rather not hear it. But I realize that it's his way of enjoying the music, so I don't worry about it too much.)

There is nothing more fun than singing loudly and purposely out of tune on a long car journey. I sing a lot at work at the moment, mind you, I am working backstage on a pantomime which has quite a few well known songs in it!

Sometimes it is quite nice when someone is happily singing quietly to themselves. Only stop if someone asks you to.

Yes, very annoying. Especially people walking around in Walgreen's or the supermarket singing along with the piped-in muzak.

If the person is tone deaf then yes it annoys me but I am one of those people who sing along with songs but I make sure that I am super low unless I am the only one around. :-)

I think as long as you're not singing at the top of your lungs there shouldn't be a problem. I catch myself once in awhile singing softly when I hear a song in a store of mall. Of course in my car it's all bets off top of my lungs, lol! :)

As long as I'm not somewhere that it needs to be quiet, it doesn't bother me. I tend to sing along too. :)

If it's a great song, I really don't want to hear someone else drowning it out- that's just me.
