I need to trim my hair temporarily till I can see my hair stylist, she is booked till next week, but I have a big night tonight and want my hair to look good. If I hold my head upside down and cut my hair like that, will it look good? has anyone else ever tried this?

NOOOOO Dont do it hun! my friend tried it and her hair got majorly messed up!

just have an updo and tong the sides so they drap down the side of your face....dont do anything in desperation, remember how long it took for you to grow it in the first place!

if ur that desperate to cut it why dont u go to another hairdresser instead of risking doing it yourself, surely this is a better idea!?

You could...it wouldn't be horrible...the layers may look a little odd and you risk the chance of it being REALLY short around your face...you know, just wait until you can get to a stylist...I have done it before but I'm a cosmotologist, it works but there's a certian angle that you have to cut to make it look decent...

I wouldn't do it unless you know what you are doing ... if anything pin your hair up and no one wont notice it needs trimming. Wait for your stylist honey.
